About the Project

Soroker-agmon-nordman offices tell a tale of a prestigious law firm that is also young, dynamic and surprising

The elongated structure made it possible for the firm’s owners to divide the office into two distinct areas – an area that is designated for the managing and senior partners and an area for junior lawyers and interns. While the space speaks a coherent visual language, the division is apparent through the design choices. The partners’ area is more distinguished and luxurious while the juniors’ area is less formal with a younger, more playful design.

The client’s brief was to create a formal yet contemporary environment that matches the patent law field. The look was achieved by using warm, industrial and “crude” materials – concrete, Corten steel and coal-grey metal, meticulously used to create a sophisticated, prestigious look and feel. The partners’ area is designed with no heavy systems, leaving the stage for the Corten wall. Originally an industrial material, the Corten is treated with a fine finish and a very soft rust texture and is elegantly divided using a Mondrian-style grid.

In the reception and waiting area, the walls are wrapped with a unique artisan carpentry wall that matched the inner Corten wall. Original fine art paintings and unique collectibles are displayed throughout the office space.
